We have complied a list of skiing tips and
precautions which will help minimize these risks and make your ski adventures
safer.
Please, before you hit the slopes, be in top
physical condition, know and follow the laws, leave the alcohol for after ski
time.
Snow Skiing Safety Tips

- Don't try to ski yourself into shape, start to work out on a treadmill
15-45 minutes a day and or do some leg exercises for at least a week before
your trip, smart people work out for 1-2 months before skiing.
- Invest in Ski lessons, It
will make skiing more enjoyable and a lot safer!
- Ski under control at all
times.
- Only ski on runs which are
appropriate for your skiing ability.
- Always focus 100% of your attention on your skiing and the mountain in
front of you.
- Avoid other skiers, always maintain a distance of least 25-50 feet between
you and other skiers. If a ski run is busy don't hesitate to stop and let
other skiers pass. You can then proceed down the mountain once it has
cleared.
- There is no place for horseplay on a ski run.
- Don't block trails.
- Yield when merging.
- All skiers shall use devices to prevent runaway skis.
- Observe all signs.
